Technical users

Technical users define the Scheduled tasks or API services that are invoked.

This does not count towards the number of Application users limitation.

Avatar

A technical user can have an avatar, which the application shows instead of the user's initials.

Upload the picture in the technical user's detail. The builder crops the middle square out of it and scales it down to a 256×256 PNG, so any picture the browser can open will do.

In the Jetveo IDE, the avatar is a file in the project, usually under resources/public/images. Pick it with Choose…: a file inside the project is used as it is, any other is copied into resources/public or resources/private first. When the picture is larger than 256×256 px, heavier than 512 KB or not a PNG, the editor offers Scale down, which writes the 256×256 PNG next to it.
