Components - Kanban Dashboard
Graphically Show the Resolution of Support Tickets
There are several options for the dashboard of our home page, including a kanban-style layout that enables the user to follow the progress of all of the tickets. The final result enables the user to drag-and-drop the severity of the tickets.
NOTE: This tutorial is built upon the foundation of the Support Ticket application.
1. Set up the Kanban Dashboard
- Go to UI > Dashboards and click

OR Type Ctrl + Shift + C, locate the UI section and click Dashboard - Set
Name
to: Support Ticket Dashboard - Click
Finish
— - On the Support Ticket Dashboard page, go to the Layout section and click
Advanced Components
- Select:
Kanban Board
- Click
Configure Kanban Board
- Set
Item Entity
to: Ticket - Set
Reference to Column Entity
to: TicketSeverity - Set
Detail Page for Items
to: Ticket Detail - Click
OK
- Save changes:
Ctrl + S
