Graphically Show the Resolution of Support Tickets

There are several options for the dashboard of our home page, including a kanban-style layout that enables the user to follow the progress of all of the tickets. The final result enables the user to drag-and-drop the severity of the tickets.

NOTE: This tutorial is built upon the foundation of the Support Ticket application.

1. Set up the Kanban Dashboard

  • Go to UI > Dashboards and click (+) OR Type Ctrl + Shift + C, locate the UI section and click Dashboard
  • Set Name to: Support Ticket Dashboard
  • Click Finish
  • On the Support Ticket Dashboard page, go to the Layout section and click Advanced Components
  • Select: Kanban Board
  • Click Configure Kanban Board
  • Set Item Entity to: Ticket
  • Set Reference to Column Entity to: TicketSeverity
  • Set Detail Page for Items to: Ticket Detail
  • Click OK
  • Save changes: Ctrl + S

2. Deploy and Run the App
